Actor Marchánt Davis makes his feature film debut in The Day Shall Come, a provocative new comedy from director Chris Morris. The Day Shall Come is the long-awaited follow-up to Morris’ previous film, the controversial and hilarious terrorism satire, Four Lions. Davis stars as Moses, a street preacher with wide-eyed ambitions of the violent overthrow of society’s status quo. Maxon is out today with the news that its popular Redshift rendering software is launching for macOS. Along with the debut comes support for Apple Silicon Macs and Apple’s Metal API. Notably, early testers are reporting “crazy results.” German developer Maxon announced the news in a press release today: Maxon says that bringing Redshift to the Mac was a priority since 2019 when the program joined its portfolio. Today, Maxon announced the immediate availability of Redshift for macOS including support for M1-powered Macs as well as Apple’s Metal Graphics API....

Yesterday, Apple announced that 30-year company veteran Deirdre O’Brien has been named senior vice president of Retail + People at Apple, a newly created role that merges employee relations responsibilities with retail experience management. Angela Ahrendts, the company’s current senior vice president of Retail, will depart in April after five years at Apple. News of Ahrendts’ departure came as a surprise to the industry, leading Apple watchers and enthusiasts to speculate on the terms of her departure and Apple’s retail health....

When word got out that Idris Elba would be starring in a new Netflix series, interest in Turn Up Charlie soared through the roof. Apple has announced that macOS Sierra will be released to customers on September 20, as part of its media event currently going on. The update is (naturally) free and incorporates several new features, like Siri for Mac, Apple Pay for websites and more. Owners of compatible Macs can upgrade for free by checking Software Update when the new OS is available. For those completely out the loop, macOS is Apple’s new branding for OS X, Apple’s desktop and laptop operating system....

Mad Men was an incredibly successful television show and gripped audiences from start to finish. With plenty of different storylines taking place and lots of details to focus on, the audience picked up on absolutely everything, as they were encouraged to do. This is why it left many fans confused when certain storylines weren’t wrapped up when the show ended. On the whole, Mad Men’s ending was very well received, however, fans still had certain questions about some of the main characters....

Hopefully something gets resolved between all parties and we can back to enjoying VLC Media Player on our iOS devices....

Disney+’s Marvel TV shows will play an important role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and they will be especially important to Captain Marvel 2. The MCU is preparing for a new era of films and TV shows now that the Infinity Saga officially came to an end with Spider-Man: Far From Home and most of the original Avengers have either retired or died. Because of that, the upcoming phases will introduce new characters, such as Shang-Chi, and carry on with the stories of superheroes that have already had their debuts in the MCU....

A real life prince created the ultimate marriage proposal via a clever reworking of an iconic scene from the Disney classic film, Sleeping Beauty.
