Marvel Television was more of a success than many viewers think, and frankly, it should be celebrated. The TV division responsible for Agents of SHIELD and Jessica Jones is being absorbed into Marvel Studios. It’s long been clear that the writing has been on the wall for Marvel Television: the problems began with a spate of cancellations, initially driven by the breakdown of Marvel’s relationship with Netflix. These problems were then compounded when Disney announced that Marvel Studios would begin producing their own TV shows for Disney+, and it didn’t take long for attentive viewers to notice that nobody was talking about Marvel Television’s own contributions to the streaming service....

Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb has admitted the company was “blindsided” by Netflix’s cancellations. The last year has been a tough one for Marvel Television, with their successful partnership with Netflix coming to an untimely end. It all began with the cancellation of Iron Fist in October, and one by one the streaming giant pulled the plug on all their Marvel shows. The partnership had been a huge success, with no less than 13 seasons of Marvel action streaming exclusively on Netflix....

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed season 2 of Marvel’s What If…? - the upcoming animated series exploring alternate realities where important events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe played out (very) differently - is already in the works, ahead of the show’s premiere in 2021. Apple is expanding its Windows Migration Assistant in macOS 10.14 Mojave with a handful of new features that will make switching from Windows to macOS a much more seamless experience. As spotted by a user on Twitter, for macOS 10.14 beta 6, the Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant will be able to migrate more data than ever before such as accounts, documents, email, contacts, and calendar. Before, Migration assistant was not able to import this data from third-party services such as Microsoft Outlook, only resorting to importing data that was local to the machine such as data from the Desktop and Documents folder....

Update: As of 6.30am PT, Apple had updated its status page as showing all services back to normal. The company said that 40% of users had been affected. Apple’s system status page is showing a substantial issue with iCloud services, the problems affecting eleven different services and persisting for four hours and counting at the time of writing. While Apple lists the services as “may be slow for some users,” many users are reporting that the services are either completely unavailable or time-out when attempting to login … Services listed by Apple as being affected are Back to My Mac, Documents in the Cloud, Find my iPhone, iCloud sign-in, iCloud Backup, iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, iMovie Theatre, iWork for Cloud beta and Photos....

In the first instalment of Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman says that Apple is currently considering future iPad designs with larger displays. The current iPad Pro maxes out at 12.9-inches diagonally. Gurman says that any new iPad screen size change is at least a ‘couple of years down the road’ and has not yet left the exploratory stages. Apple is still said to be developing a redesigned iPad chassis with a glass back for 2022, which will ship in the existing 11-inch and 12....
