Marvel’s recent rereleases aren’t about the fans - they’re all about the box office. This year’s Avengers: Endgame made cinematic history - and not just because it became the highest-grossing movie of all time. It also marked the first time Marvel Studios rereleased one of their films in the box office, with additional footage - a tribute to the late, great Stan Lee, a deleted scene featuring Professor Hulk, and a clip from Spider-Man: Far From Home....

Having to memorize all keyboard shortcuts is a daunting task, but Windows can make it easier by underlining shortcut keys on menu items. Though he acknowledges Disney is taking a risk with its considerable budget and ensemble cast, Kevin Feige says that he believes Marvel’s Eternals is a “risk worth taking.” A big-budget production set for a November 2020 release date, Eternals is helmed by award-winning indie director Chloe Zhao and stars, among other big names, Kit Harrington, Angelina Jolie, and Richard Madden (of early Game of Thrones fame). Week 3 of The Masked Singer introduced the final 4 masked singers. It included Flower vs Eagle followed by Penguin vs Fox in a battle to maintain their anonymity. Flower started the show off on a high note, leaving little doubt she would be moving on. Not good news for Eagle. Next, Penguin took on Fox, but came up a little short sending Fox on through. In the smackdown round, fans saw Penguin vs Eagle in a close round, but in the end, Penguin prevailed....

A new video from the set of The Matrix 4, reveals the story might involve Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) teaching Neo (Keanu Reeves) how to fly, as the footage appears to show the actors (or their stunt doubles) leaping off a building and then soaring into the sky. The unexpected sequel brings back original actors Moss, Reeves, and Jada Pinkett, who will join newcomers Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Gross, Jessica Henwick, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II....

A survey of 750 CIOs and other IT leaders by software company Pegasystems found confidence in tech teams was “on shaky ground” as organizations look to radically overhaul their IT functions. Disney has released a new Maleficent: Mistress of Evil poster featuring Angelina Jolie’s titular character front and center. The original Maleficent was released in 2014 and offered a revisionist take on the evil fairy character from Disney’s 1959 animation Sleeping Beauty. Rather than a vindictive old hag, Jolie’s Maleficent was far more sympathetic and three-dimensional with a backstory that justified her thirst for revenge and a redemption arc that pitched her more as an anti-hero than an outright villainess....

The long-awaited Star Wars series revolving around an armored bounty hunter and his exploits after the destruction of the Empire has now arrived on Disney+, and there’s no doubt the breakout star of the show has been the small green alien child christened “Baby Yoda” by the internet. The creature known as Baby Yoda made his surprising first appearance at the end of the first Mandalorian episode, and fully captured fans’ hearts in the second episode, which saw him engaging in all sorts of Yoda-like behavior including eating a frog and using the Force to lift a giant rhino-like creature called a Mud Horn that the Mandalorian was in the process of fighting....

Dark Mode for Mac premiered in macOS Mojave as a simple way to toggle the system appearance from the default bright theme. The new macOS Catalina release is a software update that improves how Dark Mode works with new features. The new OS version lets you schedule when Dark Mode is activated. This is based on sunset and sunrise by default. There are also ways to quickly toggle between light or dark themes and set specific apps to their own theme....
