Marvel Television issues an official response to the end of their partnership with Netflix, thanking fans for their loyalty and promising that the story of the Marvel Netflix heroes is far from over. Marvel and Netflix produced some of the most compelling superhero viewing over the last few years, with particular highlights being Daredevil and The Punisher. Unfortunately, over the last few months it’s become clear that the partnership between Marvel and Netflix was coming to an end, as the streaming giant pulled the plug on the various shows....

PC shipment estimates for the first quarter of 2014 are out from both IDC and Gartner, and as usual the two companies disagree. IDC shows Apple falling to 4th place in the U.S., behind Lenovo, while Gartner has the company remaining in 3rd place just ahead of Lenovo. Both agree, however, that Apple’s U.S. market share has fallen somewhat year-on-year, IDC showing a drop from 11 to 10.3 percent, while Gartner’s numbers show a decline from 11....

While Mad Men doesn’t really have an outright ’evil’ character throughout the entire series, Pete Campbell is certainly the main character who can be most associated with that role. While he does have some good qualities, there are many moments when he really does get under the skin of the audience. Everything Pete does seems to be from a good place in his own head. However, the vast majority of his decisions are incredibly selfish and with his rise in business in mind, no matter how much hurt it costs other people around him....

Mazda CarPlay plans took a step forward today when the company announced a retrofit option for some older models. Mazda was named as a CarPlay partner way back in 2015, but it wasn’t until this year that it finally launched the option on new cars, starting with the Mazda6. It promised a Mazda CarPlay option for older cars at the time, and says that this is now available … It’s available for 2014 cars or newer, and they need to have the Mazda Connect infotainment system fitted, as it is this which gets upgraded to add CarPlay support....

Mario Kart Tour has proven to be a hit during its first month of availability, despite one key feature being missing: real-time multiplayer support. Nintendo has announced this week, however, that it will begin testing multiplayer next month. Currently, Mario Kart Tour supports sharing high scores and leaderboards, but actual multiplayer support is nowhere to be found. Starting in December, Nintendo says it will launch a limited beta test of multiplayer support in the app....
