Week 2 of The Masked Singer introduced us to four new contestants facing off in three new head-to-head battles. However, even after two more contestants were unmasked, fans were still left with more questions than answers - and the internet was buzzing with opinions.
The battles included Black Widow vs. Leopard and Flamingo vs. Panda. Black Widow and Flamingo blew the judges and studio audience away and were able to sail on through. The remaining two gave it their all one last time, as Panda and Leopard duked it out in the final battle. Unfortunately, Panda came up short, leading to a shocking revelation. Panda took off her mask and revealed herself to be none other than undefeated championship boxer Laila Ali. Judge Robin Thicke had previously guessed Ali, but in jest, because her padded costume threw everyone off. While fans were sad to see Panda go, they didn’t delay in taking to social media with their guesses on the episode’s remaining three masked singers’ identities.

Clue Connections
Fans seem very sure about the identity of Black Widow. While many are sure they recognize Raven’s voice from her time with The Cheetah Girls, there are plenty of other clues that point to her. The mentions of life in the public eye would make sense, as Symone started her career as a child actor and has worked continuously since that time. The tarot card and crystal ball could be referencing her future-seeing character on That’s So Raven. Black Widow uses the word “empire,” and the former Cheetah Girl has appeared on the show with that title.
She talks about this being an edgier and darker version that fans are used to seeing of her, which would fit with her wholesome image growing up as a Disney star. The peach represents Georgia, which happens to be Symone’s home state. The Black Widow also said this was her house and, of course, Raven’s Home is Symone’s current Disney show. Even clues like the mentioning of threads could point to her character on that show who is a clothing designer. With an overwhelming number of clues pointing to Raven Symone, it’s easy to see why fans feel sure they’ve figured out the identity of Black Widow.
Leopard
Common Guesses: Dennis Rodman, Seal, RuPaul
Most Popular Guess: Dennis Rodman
While there is still some heated debate on this one, fans have pointed out that RuPaul is likely entirely too busy to do the show. But it’s the clue about being spotted with a president that has fans leaning towards Rodman. The former NBA player appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump. Dennis promoted his book famously in a beautiful wedding dress and has been known to have animal print hairstyles in the past, making fans think that a leopard in a beautiful dress would be a good fit for Rodman.
Flamingo
Common Guesses: Liza Koshy, Adrienne Bailon

Viewers seem as convinced that Bailon is Flamingo as they are that her fellow Cheetah Girls bandmate Symone is Black Widow. Would the show have two Cheetah Girls on one season? The clues seem to point to yes. Bailon has a YouTube beauty and lifestyle channel and there were plenty of YouTube references in Flamingo’s clues. Some even pointed out the moment when Flamingo said she would tell fans “the real” story of becoming a flamingo because Adrienne is a host on The Real. Of course, die-hard fans of the girl group think her voice is the real giveaway.
While fans have no choice but to wait for more battles and more clues to find out how accurate the fan guesses have been so far, fans will continue to line up behind the predictions they are convinced are right in the meantime, and the debate will continue via social media.
