Toddler Keys is a independently developed program by a geeky dad who had the problem with his kids always opening his cd-rom tray and pushing random buttons on his keyboard. With Toddler Keys enabled the computer will no longer respond normally to random button pressing. Instead, the computer will now play different sounds and will show pictures on the screen. It’s brilliant really, the kids can mess around without actually doing anything, and it keeps them entertained so they don’t go after the other stuff in your office....

Marvel are all set to have a jam-packed 2017 when it comes to television, and the number of projects they’re producing this year continues to grow. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just went on hiatus after delivering one of its strongest episodes yet, but will be back with the future wide open in 6 weeks. Netflix and Marvel struck gold with their street-level series, starring morally gray comic book heroes like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist (oh, and that Punisher guy). From the get go, the Marvel/Netflix deal involved an eventual convergence of their popular live-action heroes in Marvel’s Defenders team-up, which began filming last October. When the series launches next year, it promises to create Marvel’s first streaming superhero crossover, which takes its name from an otherwise unrelated classic superhero lineup....

Good news for fans of the Marvel’s Voices bi-weekly podcast, now that it’s bound for its own anthology comic series. Marvel announced this week that the Angélique Roché-hosted podcast is being developed into its own comic series, giving fans a closer look at the Marvel Universe. Debuting back in April 2018, Roché’s interview series has looked at both the Marvel comics, animation, games, and television world. She’s featured interviews with unique, diverse voices, like Mariko Tamaki (X-23), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist) and Saladin Ahmed (Black Bolt)....

Marvel Strike Force is riding high off a recent win at the 2019 Google Play Awards, and developer FoxNext isn’t resting on its laurels — the game is adding Virgina “Pepper” Potts in her iconic Mark 1616 armor as the superhero Rescue as its next character. Marvel Strike Force won the 2019 Google Play Awards’ Best Breakthrough Game of the Year and has been a well-received mobile title noted for its depth and attention to detail....

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra is potentially in talks for a future MCU movie, Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo reveals. Marvel Studios’ will wrap-up its 22-film arc spread throughout the last decade with the upcoming ensemble flick. Avengers: Infinity War’s direct sequel, Endgame will pick up after Thanos’ snap that wiped out half of population in the whole universe. Focus will now shift to the remaining heroes, particularly the original Avengers who are up for possibly their final mission as a team with some, maybe most of them not surviving the upcoming fight against the Mad Titan....

Wizards of the Coast announced today that the Magic: The Gathering Modern format will ban Oko, Thief of Crowns, Mox Opal, and Mycosynth Lattice from competitive play following a period of time for the first two cards that reached historical levels of dominance for both pillars of the popular Urza, Lord High Artificer deck. The Modern format has been in a state of flux for a lot of 2019 as Wizards of the Coast unleashed Modern Horizons on the format, the first set release designed explicitly for Modern....

Magnum P.I. is a confusing title for anyone who isn’t familiar with the world of crime and investigations. But the current CBS show, which is actually a reboot of an ’80s smash-hit show with a similar name, is quite straightforward. The investigative drama follows Thomas Magnum, a Ferrari driving former navy seal turned private investigator (yes, that’s what P.I.) means) as he solves cases in Hawaii. Because he tackles most of the major cases, Magnum always leaves us wondering if Hawaii needs a police department at all....

Windows/Linux Virtualization on the Mac is mostly a 3 player game these days. You have the open source/free VirtualBox that was purchased by Oracle as part of its Sun acquisition two years ago. It is a basic emulator which works as a get what you pay for kind of basic functionality solution. Oracle isn’t big on free Open Source products so don’t expect it to get a lot better any time soon....

My Thoughts But what I think is that Vim works the way we want it to the right from the very start, while other editors make us work the way they have been designed, not the way we actually want them to work. I can’t say much about other editors cause I haven’t used them much ( I’m biased with Vim ). Anyway, Let’s make something out of Vim, that really does the Job god damn well....

The MCU and Marvel’s Netflix output feel like separate entities, but one man is doing his utmost to hold them both together. First launching in 2015, Daredevil kicked off Marvel’s string of Netflix shows in impressive fashion, helping to wipe the painful memory of the last live-action interpretation of the character with an R-rated style and critically acclaimed story. Daredevil was confirmed by Disney CEO Bob Iger and Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb to be set within the same Marvel Cinematic Universe as the movie series and Agents of SHIELD, but told a story confined to a New York City still reeling from the aftermath of Loki’s attack seen in The Avengers....
