Marvel Studios is set to absorb Marvel TV, with Kevin Feige overseeing the division and Jeph Loeb exiting after the transition. Following the rapid rise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel TV began expanding the reach of Marvel’s properties on the small screen; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter debuted on ABC in 2013 and 2015 respectively. They also kicked off The Defenders universe in 2015 as well with Daredevil on Netflix....
It seems like most Mass Effect players would rather be a Paragon than a Renegade, at least according to John Ebenger. The EA Cinematic Designer weighed in on how fans of Bioware’s iconic sci-fi role-playing series would choose to be a conventional hero over a chaotic rogue on social media earlier this week, noting that players selected the Paragon options over the Renegade ones more often than not. In the Mass Effect series, players could fully customize many aspects of protagonist Commander Shepard, including his/her personality in the form of dialogue options and moral choices throughout the three-game-storyline....
The Matrix 4 has announced Jonathan Groff as the latest addition to the cast. He won’t be the only new actor appearing in the sequel. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has also been cast as a new lead, possibly appearing as a young Morpheus. The fourth developer beta of macOS 11 Big Sur was released yesterday, and it brings a small but notable change. With the latest beta of macOS Big Sur, there is a new option in System Preferences to disable Desktop Tinting while using Dark Mode. If you’re unfamiliar with the wallpaper tinting feature of macOS, it essentially allows window backgrounds to pick up color from your desktop wallpaper when in Dark Mode, which Apple says “helps windows blend more harmoniously with their surrounding content....

Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers had a lot to live up to when it was fully revealed at E3 2019, but MCU Avengers fan reactions were mixed due to the heroes’ character designs. These have since been updated with new Marvel’s Avengers character models, some of which have changed the heroes’ looks significantly. After the reveal, some felt Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers designs looked like cheap knock-offs of their MCU counterparts. Throughout the filming of Marvel’s Eternals movie, several set photos have been released showing off characters like Thena (Angelina Jolie), Ikaris (Richard Madden), and Black Knight (Kit Harrington). Marvel’s original plans for Avengers: Endgame could have dramatically improved his character journey. The last two Avengers blockbusters essentially presented two different sides to Thanos: the Warrior in Endgame, and the Philosopher in Avengers: Infinity War. It was all done through the use of time travel, with the Thanos of Endgame actually originating from 2014. In theory, this was supposed to create something of a loose - albeit inverted - character arc....

Marvel is celebrating 100 days until Black Widow opens in theaters. For years, it seemed like Black Widow and Hawkeye were going to be the only members of the MCU’s original Avengers to never get their own movie or TV show. Kumail Nanjiani’s character in the MCU, Kingo, is actually Japanese in the comics, yet Eternals decided to race-swap him. Hulu’s Runaways series has Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano), an actress of Japanese descent, but this character and her show are only loosely connected to the MCU and won’t be in any of the films or Disney+ shows....
