Apple has announced that the Magic Keyboard with trackpad for iPad Pro will be available to order today and begin arriving to customers next week. This is ahead of schedule, with Apple having originally said orders would open in May. Apple wrote in a press release: The Magic Keyboard is compatible with the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro models. It features a scissor switch keyboard paired with a trackpad, as well as a built-in USB-C port....

Disney showed off new footage from the upcoming Maleficent: Mistress of Evil at this year’s D23 Expo. Disney began developing the sequel to Maleficent in 2015. However, it wasn’t until 2017 when star Angelina Jolie confirmed her involvement with the follow-up to the first film. The first movie, titled Maleficent, sought to tell the tale of the villain of Disney’s animated feature Sleeping Beauty. In Maleficent, the story follows Maleficent (Jolie) as a fairy who is wronged when a human cuts off her wings....

Leaker Evan Blass has posted images of what he says is Huawei’s upcoming tablet, which will reportedly be known as the MatePad Pro. Today’s 5th developer beta release of macOS Mojave has brought about some good news for Mac-owning eGPU enthusiasts. Users can now selectively enable eGPU acceleration on a per-app basis. According to Apple’s macOS Mojave developer beta 5 release notes, users may now operationally request to use an external GPU when an app’s windows is located on a display connected directly to the Mac. What’s even more exciting is that this includes the built-in display for the iMac and MacBook Pro....

LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is now integrating HealthKit data into patient records to provide doctors with a more comprehensive picture of the health of the patients they are treating, reports Bloomberg. Tim Cook said back in February that he thought this type of use of HealthKit would be “profound” … The hospital updated its online medical records system this weekend, turning on access to HealthKit for more than 80,000 patients, Darren Dworkin, chief information officer at Cedars-Sinai, said in an interview....

At the height of World War Two, the small-but-brave Steve Rogers was transformed into the super-soldier Captain America, equipped for battle with an iconic unbreakable shield. The friendship between Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes is officially one of the most well-known, thanks to Marvel’s Captain America movies. So it’s no surprise that Marvel Comics just quietly changed the origins of Steve and Bucky, to better match the version seen in the MCU as opposed to the original comics. Hasbro has officially released details of their Avengers: Endgame tie-in merchandise - including the Marvel Legends model of Ronin. Avengers: Endgame is easily the most secretive film in the MCU to date, with Kevin Feige even teasing that the trailers only contain clips from the first 15-20 minutes of the film. Even official tie-in merchandise has been held back for as long as possible. Hasbro only revealed half of their Avengers: Endgame Marvel Legends wave at the New York Toy Fair, focusing on models of Ebony Maw, Living Laser, Nighthawk, and Hercules....

Magician Criss Angel has revealed that his five-year-old son’s cancer has returned after a brief remission. Criss spoke out about how he wishes he could be sick in place of his son who has been battling cancer for some time now. Angel made his career as an American illusionist and musician in New York City, but soon moved on to base his operation in Las Vegas. Angel shares custody of his son with Shaunyl Benson, with whom he also has a second son....
