Music industry sources predicted back in February that Apple Music would overtake Spotify in US subscribers this summer, and a major music distributor says that this has now happened. Both services are said to have more than 20M US subscribers, with Apple Music said to be ‘a hair ahead’ … Digital Music News has seen a report with the numbers. Two new characters are about to enter Marvel Contest Of Champions from the outer reaches of space: longtime X-Men baddie Mojo and the inter-dimensional warrior Longshot. A new online teaser trailer and subsequent press release by developer Kabam revealed that these two enemies are set to arrive in the hit mobile game later this month, with Mojo appearing to be in a supporting role while Longshot will be a fully playable character....

In just six months, we’ll finally see Marvel’s Inhumans when the show debuts on IMAX screens before moving to ABC. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand in the aftermath of the record-breaking success of Avengers: Endgame, Phase 4 will be a major indicator of the brand’s continued longevity. Youth vs. experience takes center stage in Marvel Comics’ Outlawed event, featuring the return of the superhuman kid team Power Pack. The first official details for the Pack’s new mini-series finds the squad facing imprisonment and (possibly) seeking adult guidance. Outlawed is set to debut in March, and the much-anticipated storyline is likely to send multi-generational ripples throughout Marvel’s multiverse. An adult-free team of super-siblings informed by Lewis Carroll and quantum physics, Power Pack was created in the 1980s by writer Louise Simonson and artist June Brigman (notable for the era, the characters are the invention of two women creators)....

Marriage might be fodder for truly poor comedy (saying the husband is “whipped” or isn’t allowed to have a life anymore) but when this subject is treated well, it can be both moving and hilarious. That’s the case with the ’90s sitcom Mad About You. Running for seven seasons from 1992 until 1999, the TV series is finally all available on DVD after some of the later seasons saw some delays....

Mark Hamill has officially been tapped to voice Chucky in the upcoming reboot of Child’s Play, which is set to release later this year. Hamill previously teased a big announcement coming today on his social media accounts, though most were assuming it had something to do with the upcoming Star Wars movie. The role of Chucky was made famous by Brad Dourif, who portrayed the character in seven films and will continue to voice the character in an upcoming television series (which takes place in the original continuity, unlike the reboot)....
