Daniel Radcliffe has officially debunked the rumors that he’s in the running for Marvel’s Moon Knight. It was previously reported that Radcliffe was being seriously considered for the lead role in the upcoming Disney+ series, which is one of many Marvel shows in development for the streamer. The first, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will arrive in August. Moon Knight has yet to score an official release date, but it’s currently expected sometime in 2021 with production beginning this summer....

Apple has confirmed that 17 malware iPhone apps were removed from the App Store after successfully hiding from the company’s app review process. The apps were all from a single developer but covered a wide range of areas, including a restaurant finder, internet radio, BMI calculator, video compressor, and GPS speedometer … The apps were discovered by mobile security company Wandera, which said that the apps did what they claimed while secretly committing fraud in the background....

Back in 2009, news broke that Martin Scorsese had signed on to direct a biopic about Frank Sinatra, who died in 1998 at age 82 due to a heart attack. There’s been a lot of discussion about the macOS 11 Big Sur icons, much of it heated. Once again, Apple has managed to polarize opinion between those who are heaving a sigh of relief that Apple isn’t bringing completely flat design to the Mac, and those who are just heaving at what they consider ugly and inconsistent graphics. Apple is releasing the first public beta of macOS 10.15 Catalina today. Ahead of schedule, public beta users can now try macOS Catalina – but be wary of bugs and performance issues. Mailbox, the iOS email app recently acquired by Dropbox, was updated with a few new features today. Among the new additions is Gmail cloud search which allows you to search messages stored on the server but not downloaded to your phone. The ability to set an individual signature for each account—a much-requested feature—was also added, along with an option to open links in Google Chrome. The update is available now to all users for free....
