However, the MCU has grown to include a number of other characters aside from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. For instance, Marvel teamed up with Netflix to develop a more focused, and geographically smaller, universe with solo series for heroes like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist....

Marvel’s Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler series are officially done, as the media giant cancels both shows before making it to screen. Howard the Duck is one of Marvel Comics’ most irreverent characters and made his debut in the ’70s. He’s been portrayed on the big screen several times before, starring in 1986’s Howard the Duck film with Lea Thompson. Howard also featured in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies and briefly in Avengers: Endgame....

The company beat analyst expectations, which had estimated that Q4 earnings per share would come in at $2.19. Revenue for the full year is also up 23% to $18.9 billion. Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach said in the press release that the increase in revenue is due in part to an increase in consumer cross-border spending, which the company reports is now above pre-pandemic levels. Since Marriage Story’s August 2019 theatrical premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, the drama has received steady Oscar buzz for its direction and collective performances. The storyline takes place in both Los Angeles and New York City as Nicole and Charlie Barber discover the complexities of a divorce procedure....

The X-Men will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it might not be until Phase 6 of the MCU. The Disney/Fox merger brought a lot of titles and characters to the Mouse House, among them the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. The mutants’ storyline recently came to an end with X-Men: Dark Phoenix, so the characters are ready for a fresh start in the MCU. During the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Kevin Feige confirmed the X-Men are coming to the MCU, but didn’t give any details....

Marvel’s Disney+ series She-Hulk is reportedly set to start filming this summer, despite not yet having a star. She-Hulk is among the many MCU-set shows that will be exclusive to Disney+ thanks to the restructuring of Marvel’s television side, now called Marvel TV Studios. The Disney+ shows will connect to the films in ways Marvel television shows previously have not, with the events of the shows directly influencing the films. The first, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will premiere later this year, with WandaVision also expected in 2020....

Fans of The Masked Singer who just can’t enough of the popular show are going to be getting even more masked celebrities to try to identify with the upcoming spinoff, The Masked Dancer. The new show, announced today, will also be airing on Fox. The Masked Singer has become a cultural phenomenon since its premiere season. After two successful seasons, Fox left very little gap between airing season 2 - which ended just weeks ago - and season 3, which will launch following the Super Bowl in early February....

Mafia: Definitive Edition is another action-adventure video game in 2020 that has been developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. Due to the stunning graphics and the gameplay, the game has received very positive reviews in just a couple of days or so. Though there are a couple of visual glitches in this game, the overall gameplay experience is well-optimized and very smooth than its previous releases. However, some of the unfortunate PC players are experiencing Mafia: Definitive Edition Crashing at Startup, Won’t Launch, or Lags with FPS drops issue either while launching it or during the gameplay....
