Bringing the famous supervillain Carnage back to Earth as a servant of the dark symbiote god, Knull, the psychopath is attempting to awaken his master… and slaughtering hundreds to make it happen....

Marvel’s Ghost Rider has had many incarnations over the years, from demonic stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze, to vengeful drag racer Robbie Reyes, to the outright insane enforcer Cosmic Ghost Rider. But no Ghost Rider has ever been anything like Kenshiro “Zero” Cochrane’s Terminator-style Ghost Rider 2099. And now fans will get to see this cyberpunk Spirit of Vengeance blaze back into comics when he reappears in December’s Ghost Rider 2099 #1 one-shot as part of Marvel’s relaunch of their 2099 universe....

Marvel Comics has officially confirmed that its greatest villain is Knull, the God of the Symbiotes. The last few years have seen writers Ryan Stegman and Donny Cates rewrite Venom’s mythology, adding both cosmic and mystical elements to the tongue-slavering symbiote’s lore. They’ve revealed that the symbiotes were created by an ancient being of darkness called Knull, who lived in the void before the Big Bang and objected vehemently to the creation of light....

Marvel’s April 2020 announcements include a new solo title for Riri Williams, AKA Ironheart. Since the end of Eve Ewing’s eponymous 2018 series, Ironheart fans have sought the next chapter in her journey. The engineering prodigy has seen massive growth in the past year as she was forced to confront past traumas and proved to herself that, despite being a teenage superhero, childhood tragedy does not define her. In the first installment of a two-issue miniseries, titled 2020 Ironheart #1, the cyberpunk drama of Iron Man 2020 hits home for Riri and threatens to undo all of her progress by tearing her closest friendship apart....

As standard, Yosemite offers a dark mode that changes the look of the menubar and Dock from the stock white appearance to a black translucent material. Unfortunately, the option is quite primitive, toggled on or off by a checkbox in System Preferences. Lights Out is a neat utility by Sam Turner that adds a new preference to pane to enable Dark Mode automatically at specific times of day. This means you can set Dark Mode to turn on at night (to help with screen glare) and wake up to the brighter look the next morning, sort of like a faux-Flux....

Update: The glitch may be related with the latest versions of Find My Mac and iTunes, according to testing by The Mac Observer. Since upgrading to OS X 10.9.3, some users are reporting that their /Users folder is now hidden. This means the folder is no longer visible when looking at the root of the hard drive in the Finder, which is inconvenient for Macs with multiple users installed. With OS X Lion, Apple took the liberty to hide the Library folder from OS X users....

Freeform has ordered its second Marvel TV show in New Warriors, the comedy series about a superhero team that includes fan-favorite Doreen Green aka. Squirrel Girl. The Freeform channel is owned by the Disney-ABC Television Group (which currently airs Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show) and recently put in an order for another Marvel comics adaptation, in the form of Cloak & Dagger. Similar to Cloak & Dagger, New Warriors is going to be geared more towards a young adult audience than previous Marvel Cinematic Universe properties (of both the movie and TV show variety) have been....

Marvel’s Runaways is cancelled at Hulu; the series is set to end with season 3 next month as a new trailer is released. A few years ago, Marvel TV was rapidly expanding, with series set up at ABC, Netflix, Hulu and Freeform. However, in the last year a number of those shows have been cancelled or confirmed to be ending. All of the Marvel Netflix series, from Daredevil to The Punisher, were cancelled between the end of 2018 and early 2019....

While the new X-Men reality has taken shape in Marvel’s comic book universe, Charles Xavier has been leading the way. Finally, it’s time for Magneto to get a standalone Giant-Size X-Men all to himself. The series of one-shots was previously announced with Jean Grey and Emma Frost in the starring roles come February, written by Jonathan Hickman – the writer responsible for the entire House of X and Powers of X reboot....

The opening battle of Captain America: Civil War gets an R-rated makeover by the talented folks over at Corridor Digital. The Corridor Crew YouTube channel is comprised of several extremely skilled VFX artists who use their platform to show off some industry secrets and tools of the trade when it comes to CGI effects. Their popular work includes the “VFX Artists React” series, which shines a light on the best and worst CGI in big budget Hollywood hits....

Marvel Studios has won their first Oscars for Black Panther’s costume and production design. The studio’s first movie to be led by a person of color has truly been a game changer. The film received rave critical reviews and propelled it to become a billion dollar earner at the box office. While the success is unquestioned, Black Panther remained in the conversation thanks to being positioned as an awards contender....

Martin Scorsese has suggested that Joker should be considered cinema after all. The Oscar-winning director has almost been in the spotlight as much as Todd Phillips’ wildly successful Joker has been of late, but for entirely different reasons. For those who missed out on everything that’s been going on with Scorsese over the past month, a lot has happened. Things really kicked off when the acclaimed Taxi Driver and Goodfellas director stated that he didn’t believe that MCU movies and comic book movies in general qualified as cinema....

A storyline from Netflix’s Jessica Jones means that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s U.S. Agent - one of Marvel’s new characters for the MCU’s Phase 4 - might need a slightly different origin story. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier airs in late 2020 and it’ll feature John Walker aka U.S. Agent, who will be played by Wyatt Russell. The Marvel hero was a temporary replacement for Steve Rogers as Captain America, with whom he shares a rocky history....

This involved tricking Rogue into exposing herself to a mystical energy invading Krakoa, one that originated from the magical dimension called Otherworld....

Nothing builds suspense like a good murder mystery, and that is exactly what Marvel Comics is using to end their calendar year on a high note. According to the latest Incoming! teaser dropped by the comics publisher, an unidentified body covered by a white sheet will be hiding a major component of the universe’s next big events. Surrounded by distraught heroes–including every single member of the Fantastic Four–the caption inviting viewers to “solve the puzzle before the heroes of the Marvel Universe” seems to confirm this corpse is just another piece of a much larger, even more mysterious riddle…...

Marvel Studio’s Hawkeye Official Trailer The trailer features a whimsical look at the Christmastime adventures of Clint Barton played by Jeremy Renner. And he’s also getting a new sidekick Kate Bishop played by Hailee Steinfeld. The show takes place following the events of Avengers: Endgame which saw him turn into a chaotic vigilante named Ronin after his family was dusted out of existence due to Thanos’ snap. Clint is seemly just wanting to enjoy his family again during the Christmas season, but a vigilante looking a lot like Barton’s Ronin suit starts showing up in NYC....
