Released in 2014, the original Maleficent was a live-action movie that reimagined Sleeping Beauty from the perspective of its villain, and revealed the dark truth behind why she cursed Princess Aurora in the first place. And while the film drew mixed reviews overall, it was also praised for its revisionist fairy tale approach and earned $759 million at the global box office....

Spider-Man PS4 provides players with a large variety of main and optional quest missions and goals to work towards. New photos from the set of Eternals tease fans with an unknown location. Officially announced during Marvel Studios Hall H panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the Chloe Zhao-directed film will introduce fans to the franchise’s newest key players. Although given what’s known about its premise, chances are that most of the characters have already been roaming around the universe, they’ve just yet to make their presence known. Boasting a star-studded cast of characters, the primary cast of Eternals was announced by Kevin Feige at SDCC, confirming Angelina Jolie as Thena, Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, and Don Lee as Gilgamesh....

Video from the San Francisco set of The Matrix 4 reunites Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves as Trinity and Neo for the first time in 17 years. Details about the film’s plot are still mostly unknown. When the project was first announced, there were rumors that Morpheus would be recast as a younger version of the character, but anything beyond that is pure speculation at this point. Directed by Lana Wachowski from a script she co-wrote with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchel, the film will also star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jessica Henwick....

With Pokemon Go encouraging millions of users to walk around and catch Pokémon throughout the day, its popularity has also caused disruption to public venues and businesses. Several museums have already had to send out announcements banning the use of the game out of respect. While not every gamma-powered character becomes a variation of The Hulk, the others have nonetheless utilized their unique abilities to become both The Hulk’s greatest allies, like She-Hulk and Amedeus Cho, as well as some of his most iconic villains like Abomination....

The new trailer for Marvel’s Avengers has revealed that the characters and environments have gone through extensive redesigns. The title was originally announced in 2017 as “The Avengers Project”, and then at E3 2019 Square Enix showed a full trailer and gave out more details about the game’s premise. When the first trailer was released, fan feedback was mostly positive, but a significant portion of fans criticized the design of the Avengers themselves....

Warning: SPOILERS for Spider-Verse #4 Marvel’s latest Spider-Verse event has Spider-Man Miles Morales traveling to different earths and meeting different alternate Spiders, trying to find a missing Annie May Parker. So far, he’s meet new Spiders such as a Spider-Gang, a Spider-Monster, and even a wasteland driving Spider known as Lord Spider. Miles has also reunited with Spiders from the first Spider-Verse event. In Spider-Verse #4, Miles reunites with Web-Slinger, the Cowboy Spider-Man of Earth-31913....

Marvel’s Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ show can introduce a more comic book accurate version of the Watchdogs, who appeared in Agents of SHIELD season 3. In the comics, the Watchdogs are villains who battle U.S. Agent after he becomes the new Captain America. Agents of SHIELD already used them, but there’s nothing stopping them from appearing again in a different series. First up on Disney+’s slate of MCU shows is Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is due in fall 2020....

At this point, moviegoers of all ages are aware of the general success that Marvel Studios has enjoyed with its Marvel Cinematic Universe. Beginning with the critically and fan-acclaimed Iron Man in 2008, Marvel Studios – and Disney soon after – has enjoyed nearly a decade of prosperity with its big screen superheroes. Marvel’s television division is no slouch either, which is perhaps why fans did not complain too much when recent headlines broke, revealing that The Inhumans will be moving to television, rather than go the route of an MCU feature film....

A macOS Gatekeeper vulnerability discovered by a security researcher last month has now been exploited in what appears to be a test by an adware company. Gatekeeper is designed to ensure that Mac apps are legitimate by checking that the code has been signed by Apple. Any app failing that check shouldn’t be allowed to install without the user acknowledging the risk and granting explicit permission to proceed … However, security researcher Filippo Cavallarin last month drew attention to a problem with this....

Marvel Studios had a strong presence at this year’s D23, and dropped news on everything from Black Panther 2 to Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight Disney+ TV shows. D23 is the official Disney fan club, with the name referencing the year 1923, when the company was founded. Every two years, the House of Mouse hold a convention to celebrate their upcoming projects; it essentially serves as a mini-Comic-Con dedicated just to Disney properties....

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige reveals that the company is assembling a behind-the-scenes look at late icon Stan Lee’s various MCU cameos. Lee of course passed away last year at the age of 95, after a rough couple of years both personally and health-wise. While it remains sad that Lee’s gone, his contributions to pop culture via Marvel Comics and the films they’ve inspired will continue to live on forever. Lee was truly one of a kind, and he won’t soon be forgotten by fans....

Could the villain of Fox’s New Mutants secretly be the equivalent of their very own Dark Phoenix - Dani Moonstar herself? After years of delay, New Mutants - the last X-Men film commissioned by Fox - is finally coming out in April. Disney has released a new trailer, promising a PG-13 superhero horror with homages to everything from Nightmare on Elm Street to One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. The trailer gave a glimpse of the monstrous Demon Bear....
