One of the long awaited projects announced to be part of Marvel Studios’ Phase 3 schedule was The Inhumans, a film that would continue to take the MCU into the cosmos and introduce Marvel’s growing superpowered group. However, Kevin Feige’s power move to the top of the studio put the future of the project in doubt, and it was quietly canceled last year. This unfortunate news for comic fans came with some surprising results, since ABC, IMAX, and Marvel then announced a deal to turn it into an eight episode first season that would debut the first two episodes in a movie format for a limited time....

Disney CEO Bob Iger reveals he had to overcome certain roadblocks from Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter to produce Black Panther and Captain Marvel. The films, which each grossed over $1 billion at the global box office, pushed the studio’s boundaries. In a double elimination of Thingamajig and Leopard on Fox’s smash-hit who-sung-it reality competition, The Masked Singer, the top three were revealed. In the semi-finalists, Thingamajig was revealed as NBA player Victor Oladipo and then Leopard, who was unmasked and revealed as legendary singer Seal. This Tuesday, Fox’s music competition The Masked Singer heated up with performances from the remaining five singers, in search for the final three. The judges, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke decided on their favorite and least favorite masked singer of the night....

Matthew Vaughn says he is still interested in directing the Fantastic Four movie for Marvel. Vaughn has worked on a couple of comic book movies before such as Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service, but he also kick-started the X-Men prequel series with X-Men: First Class in 2011. Vaughn also produced the 2015 Fantastic Four, which was panned by fans and critics alike. The movie Mad Max: The Wasteland has reportedly been given the green light and will begin filming this fall.
